A High Sensitivity Fiber Laser Microphone

Abstract

A novel fiber laser microphone (FLM) is presented. Due to the ultra-narrow line width of the fiber laser, when an interferometric demodulation method is used, the FLM can show a low noise level performance. The test results are also given.
