Abstract

We propose an Edge-buffered Contention-resolution Hybrid Optical/Electrical Switch (ECHOES) for Data Center Networks. Simulations indicate our scheme can support a workload up to 0.93 while still maintain near 100% throughput and stable delay at microsecond-level.
