Hybrid Silicon and Lithium Niobate Michelson Interferometer Modulator

Abstract

We demonstrate the hybrid silicon and lithium niobate electro-optic Michelson interferometer modulator with a low voltage-length product of 1.2 V·cm. Operating speed up to 40 Gbit/s with 6.8dB extinction ratio is shown.
