Bandwidth Calendaring Algorithm over Software Defined Packet Transport Network

Abstract

We propose an immediate solution to the Bandwidth Calendaring (BWC) Service from the perspective of the network operator, including admission decisions, scheduling time and scheduled path planning, which motivates network operator to flexibly schedule users’ requests and maximize the traffic acceptance rate and maximize network resource utilization.
