Modulation Format Conversion From QPSK to 16QAM Using Phase-Sensitive Amplification and IQ Modulation

Abstract

We propose a modulation format conversion method from two QPSK signals to a 16QAM signal by using phase-sensitive amplification and IQ modulation. Numerical simulation reveals that error-free conversion can be achieved.
