Abstract

The 100 Gbit/s/λ DMT PON is demonstrated based on intensity modulation and heterodyne coherent detection. And both CPE and RFP based schemes are discussed and compared for phase noise compensation. The power budgets after 10-km and 20-km SSMF transmission without dispersion management with RFP method are 35-dB and 32.9-dB, respectively.
