A Frequency Offset Estimation and Compensation Method Compliant with the CCSDS 131.2-B-1 Standard by using Kalman Filter

Abstract

We propose a method which uses frame header, pilot and Kalman filter to estimate and compensate frequency offset. Within frequency offset range -800KHz~800KHz, the estimated absolute error is less than 1KHz.
