Terahertz Frequency Comb Based on Frequency-Locked Coherent Smith-Purcell Radiation

Abstract

Via velocity modulation by utilizing localized surface plasmon, a method of producing picosecond free-electron bunch train and further generating terahertz frequency comb based on frequency-locked coherent Smith-Purcell radiation is proposed and studied numerically.
