Suppression of Even-Order Distortions in Directly Modulated APL for the Mobile Fronthaul System

Abstract

A method based on the push-pull manner is proposed in the directly-modulated analog photonic link (APL) to eliminate IMD2. Nine 200 MHz IF signals are experimentally achieved the reduction (>1 %) of EVM over 1.5km SSMF.
