Abstract

A simple scheme to generate multi-frequency dual-chirp microwave waveform with increased time-bandwidth product based on microwave photonics is proposed. The waveforms including center frequency-bandwidths of 10GHz-3.2GHz, 20GHz-3.2GHz, and 30GHz-3.2GHz are simultaneously generated with two cascaded polarization modulators.
