High power tapered fiber bundle 19×1 pump combiner

Abstract

We investigate a 19×1 tapered fiber bundle(TFB) pump combiner based on twist method. To our best knowledge, this is the first time 220/242 μm multimode fibers act as pump fibers for a 19×1 pump combiner.
