Random Perturbations on Crosstalk in Quasi-homogeneous Multi-core Fiber with Bidirectional Transmission

Abstract

A redefined discrete changes model is proposed to estimate the crosstalk of bidirectional transmission with random perturbations. Results show a large effective index difference increase the crosstalk obviously because of perturbations in quasi-homogeneous multi-core fiber.
