A Fast and High-Accuracy Optical Fiber Design Technique using LNGO algorithm and Neural Networks

Abstract

A novel optical-fiber design technique is proposed based on LNGO algorithm and BP-NN. Assisted by the LNGO algorithm, high-accuracy relationship between the fiber-structure parameters and the mode-coupling coefficient can be established using BP-NN with only 2500 data samples.
