Impulse response restoration of fiber Rayleigh scattering channel with double complementary pulses and deep learning

Abstract

For enhancing the performance of phase-sensitive OTDR, the impulse response of fiber Rayleigh scattering channel can be restored by using two probing pulses (with complementary frequency sidelobes) and deep learning data-processing.
