Noise Mitigation Using Adaptive Filtering Algorithm for Long-Range VLC System Based on FPGA

Abstract

We design and implement an adaptive filter using FPGA for real-measured ambient noise mitigation in a 100m outdoor visible light communication system. Experimental results indicate that 7.84 dB SNR improvement is achieved.
