Reduced Relative Intensity Noise of Integrated DFB Laser Array under Injection Locking

Abstract

A four-element DFB laser array with double Y-branch couplers is monolithically integrated for stable injection locking. Experiment results show that relative intensity noise of the laser array is obviously reduced under injection locking.
