Liquid crystal-assisted coherent combining of fiber lasers for mode-tunable orbital angular momentum beam array generation

Abstract

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a liquid crystal-assisted coherent fiber laser combining system for tailoring orbital angular momentum (OAM) beam arrays. Spatially-distributed multiple OAM beams with synchronously tunable OAM modes can be efficiently generated.
