A Ditherless Bias Control Technique for IQ Mach-Zehnder Modulator Based on Partial Derivative and Neural Network

Abstract

We proposed a ditherless automatic bias control algorithm based on partial derivative estimation and neural network. Simulation results show the precision for bias IQ and P can achieve 0.5% and 0.1% of 21Vπ respectively.
