Single-carrier 800 Gbit/s and 1.2 Tbit/s Transmission Using 96 GBaud Commercial Optoelectronic Components

Abstract

Using commercial optoelectronic components we experimentally demonstrate an 800 Gbit/s/lambda system with 96 GBaud 32QAM. The BER floor is 9e-5 and the receiver sensitivity is -20.7 dBm, which may support several DCI applications.
