Simultaneous All-Optical XOR and XNOR Logic Gates in Highly Nonlinear Organic-Silicon Hybrid Slot Waveguide

Abstract

We have experimentally demonstrated all-optical XOR and XNOR gates at 40 Gb/s based on the non-degenerate four-wave mixing in a 3 mm long highly nonlinear organic-silicon hybrid slot waveguide, providing great potential for future applications in all-optical networks.
