Abstract

Phase noise measurement of an OEO by an EML-based photonic-delay line method is demonstrated. A 9.952-GHz signal is generated with a phase noise of -111.45 dBc/Hz@10 kHz, and the noise floor reaches -135 dBc/Hz@10 kHz.
