Real Time Frequency Offset Measurement and Compensation Technique Scheme for DFB Lasers

Abstract

A real time frequency offset measurement and compensation scheme is experimentally demonstrated for DFB lasers. Results indicate the frequency drift can be suppressed down to 100MHz by using a feedback control loop based on FPGA.
