Abstract

In order to low down the residual phase noise and reduce the loop time delay, a hybrid integrated optical phase locked loop is designed based on unltra-low linewidth frequency tunable self-injected semiconductor laser, which achieves a loop delay of 30 ps, the residual phase noise of -80 dBc/Hz at 100 Hz offset and phase noise variance of 0.0018 rad2.
