Analysis of Neural Network Compensation for Fiber Nonlinearity in Coherent Optical Communication System Based on Perturbation Model

Abstract

We analyze the effect of neural network (NN) on nonlinear compensation in coherent optical transmission system. The simulation and experimental results show that the NN can compensate the residual intra- and inter-channel nonlinear interference.
