2×20G Baud Few-Mode Fiber Transmission with a Jones-Volterra training sequence

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrated a 2×20G Baud PAM4 few mode fiber transmission and proposed a Jones-Volterra training sequence to mitigate the device nonlinearities and dynamic crosstalk. The proposed algorithm can achieve a 0.5dB received power improvement.
