Dynamic Traffic Grooming with Link Optimizing in Elastic Optical Networks

Abstract

The dynamic traffic grooming with link optimizing algorithm considering the degree of fragmentation increasing is proposed for elastic optical networks. Simulation results shows that this method can reduce blocking rate and improve spectrum resource utilization.
