Accurate chromatic dispersion estimation for Nyquist and Faster Than Nyquist Coherent Optical Systems

Abstract

We propose an accurate blind chromatic dispersion (CD) estimation method for single-carrier coherent optical communication systems. The method can work well even in faster than Nyquist (FTN) system in presence of polarization-mode dispersion.
