Fast WHT-based Block Precoding for DMT Transmission

Abstract

We experimentally compare DFT, OCT and WHT-based block precoding (BP), bit loading and the traditional precoding techniques in a short-reach DMT system. A similar BER performance can be achieved with the low-complexity fast WHT-based BP technique.
