Abstract

In previous papers^1-5), blackness at fixed criteria have been measured by a method of adjustment and spectral efficiencies of blackness were obtained. In this research, the spatial blackness induction was measured as a function of log retinal illuminance of monochromatic inducing-field using a color naming method and a method of adjustment and then the spectral efficiencies of blackness induction at three different criteria, black=95%, black=white and black=5%, were obtained.
