Color appearance of colored lights at light-adapted peripheral retina

Abstract

It has been pointed out that, as eccentricity of the peripheral retina is increased, saturation of light is dropped rapidly and its hue changes to blue or yellow in the dark-adapted condition.1-4) The present experiment is performed to find out whether such deterioration is observed in the light- adapted environment.
