Optical measurements in recycling operations

Abstract

To enable economically viable recycling of post-consumer package materials, it is important to sort the materials properly. Different operation regimes have individual requirements on the measurements needed. An overview will be given on imaging and spectroscopic solutions developed for this purpose.
