Fiber-laser-based Widely-tunable Sources for the Visible

Abstract

Fiber lasers may be frequency converted to the visible via harmonic generation but they do not provide significant wavelength tunability. We have developed widely tunable orange to red fiber lasers using cascaded quasi-phase-matched frequency conversion.
