Abstract

We demonstrate an electrically-pumped semiconductor-based chaotic microcavity laser. The cavity shape is designed to maximize the number of lasing modes, providing emission with low spatial coherence and high-power per mode enabling high-speed, speckle-free, full-field imaging.
