Measurement Quantization and Rate Allocation in Compressive Imaging and Image Compression

Abstract

We present an analysis of measurement quantization and rate allocation problems in compressive imaging and quantify its impact on image formation. Compressive imaging is compared with traditional image compression with respect to measurement data size.
