Time domain numerical observation of superluminal pulse in photonic band-gap structures

Abstract

In this paper, we systemically study the time domain properties of superluminal light in 1D and 2D band-gap photonic crystals, including band diagram, transmission, group velocity, energy velocity and dwell time.
