Abstract

We found 30.9% difference in stimulated emission cross section at 1319 nm between 0.4at.% and 5.4at.% Nd:YAG ceramics by fine spectroscopy. It was also revealed that Stark splitting of Nd:YAG depended on Nd3+-concentration and fabrication processes.
