Yb doped Fluorides for High Power and Short-Pulse Laser Applications

Abstract

We present an overview of laser results we obtained with Yb-doped calcium-fluoride. Spectral and thermal properties will be discussed, and experimental demonstration on high-power and ultrashort pulse oscillators and amplifiers will be presented.
