High-power Dispersion Managed Soliton Thulium Doped Fiber Laser

Abstract

In this Letter we report on dispersion managed soliton thulium fiber laser operating at 1.93–1.97 µm and thulium-ytterbium amplifier. The anomalous dispersion in the laser cavity is compensated by the insertion of germanium-silicate fiber.
