GHz repetition rate mid-infrared lasers for dual-comb spectroscopy

Abstract

We present 1 GHz repetition rate mid-infrared frequency combs with optical bandwidth > 30 THz and demonstrate their application to chemical kinetics studies in dual-comb configuration.
