Improving Optical Properties of Gold Nanorods Synthesized via the Effect of Electrolytes

Abstract

We report an effective method to synthesize gold nanorods with tunable longitudinal extinction peak wavelength from 781 to 955 nm depending on the amount of NaCl added. Those as-prepared gold nanorods are helpful for bioimaging.
