Solar Blind Ultraviolet Photodetectors Based on MgZnO Thin Films

Abstract

Cubic MgZnO thin films were grown by MOCVD. Solar blind ultraviolet photodetectors with metal-semiconductor-metal structure were fabricated based on these thin films. The high responsivity was attributed to photoconductive gain caused by hole trapping.
