Abstract
Dye-sensitized solar cells have been extensively studied for it representing an interesting alternative to solid-state junction device, the simple assembling technology and their potential low cost. Much effort has gone into the understanding and commercialization of this potentially low cost thin film photovoltaic (PV) technology. As commercial product, dye-sensitized solar cells should be fabricated from a single cell to large-scale DSC module. In this paper, the development of PV was introduced at first. The way towards commercialization of dye-sensitized solar cells and what we have done about this was discussed in detail.
