Optical Imaging for Medical Diagnostics Using Femtosecond White Light

Abstract

Femtosecond white light has been used for simultaneous multi-spectral time-resolved tissue-phantom transillumination. Contrast enhancement has been studied using differential absorbers located inside the tissue phantoms. Measurements on female breast in vitro are also presented.
