Imaging through Highly Scattering Media with a Novel Upconverting Time Gate

Abstract

We demonstrate a new upconverting time-gate suitable for two-dimensional imaging at wavelengths longer than 1 μm where scatter is typically reduced. Image amplification is obtained when using a difference frequency upconverting time gate.
