Abstract
A spatial interferometer for high angular resolution of astronomical objects has been constructed and installed on Mount Wilson. It involves two movable telescopes each of 65-inch aperture, heterodyne detection using CO2 lasers as local oscillators, laser monitoring of optical path lengths, and lobe rotation.
