Atmospheric Turbulence Compensation Using Self-Referenced Binary Holographic Interferometry

Abstract

A technique to perform atmospheric compensation of ground-based telescopes using self-referenced interferometry with a binary holographic recording medium is analyzed for a 1.5m aperture. Substantial image correction is predicted with an artificial guidestar reference.
