Coupling of an optical beam corrected by adaptive optics into a single mode optical fiber

Abstract

We describe an adaptive optics approach for single-mode fiber coupling, developed jointly for interferometry and space communications. The aberrations downstream the wavefront sensor are estimated and corrected, statically or dynamically with atmospheric turbulence.
