CANARY: An on-sky laser guide star multiple object AO demonstrator

CANARY is the on-sky LGS MOAO demonstrator for the proposed EAGLE E-ELT instrument. The CANARY design is described here for the initial experimental phases. Simulations of system performance predict an H-band Strehl ratio of 0.27–0.33.
