Abstract

In present paper two methods of image acquisition through a multimode fiber are proposed, in which N mutually incoherent signals transmitted through a fiber correspond to N pixels of image. The first scheme is based on competitive interaction of mutually incoherent signals in a mutually pumped phase conjugate mirror. The image transmission in the second scheme is attained by excitation of N photorefractive oscillators spatially separated outside the fiber. Each of N oscillators consist of the two mutually pumped phase conjugate mirrors placed on the both ends of the fiber.
