Abstract

We report on temperature tuning photorefractive two-beam coupling experiments with InP:Fe with an applied dc-field. A maximum two-wave mixing (TWM) gain of Γ=7.5 cm−1 for a field strength of 8 kV/cm with a pump intensity of 148.6 mW/cm2 and a signal-to-pump ratio β=650 at the resonance temperature Tres= 25°C is observed. It was found that resonance temperature varies with pump intensities according to the theoretical model. Our measurements show that for pump intensities 50-250 mW/cm2 the resonance temperature varies from 18-32 °C.
